Current 6th-8th graders, become part of our joint CMS and Fayette County Public Library program this summer!
2019 Summer Reading Program
Current CMS students and Fayette County School Corporation 6th graders may read from their own books and keep logs provided through the media center at their last visit or join in the fun at the public library. Any books read through the public library will also count for the CMS goal to have read at least six books this summer between May 25th and August 3rd. Logs are due in the CMS Media Center no later than August 16th.
The Public Library program runs from May 25th - July 27th with the same goals.

CMS students who meet that 6 book goal will be treated to a "Blast-Off Back-to-School" pizza party soon after school begins.
Of course, the real reward is in the reading. Research shows that summer reading prevents learning loss over the summer. So…read CMS, read!
